Responsible for maintaining the production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds for Exopack. Major duties include: Conducting and refining on preventive maintenance programs, performing maintenance tasks in support of plant modernization and expansion projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and improving equipment availability and reliability. Responsible for meeting safety, production, quality and performance standards.
TC Transcontinental Packaging (formerly Coveris) has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician in their Spartanburg, SC Facility. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for daily quality lab activiteis up to and including quality checks, equipment calibration, assessment, investigation, and reporting of non-conforming product and raw materials.
Produce a quality product by achieving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) goals. Press Operations report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisors and indirectly to the Value Stream Manager. Press Operators work closely with the Graphics Department, Maintenance Department, Leadership team, and Customers.
This position will coordinate with the Plant Manager and Pillar Leads on implementing the performance system and will then be responsible for managing the process. Through the CPS system implementation, the Specialist will have an impact on plant performance, improving manufacturing and quality metrics. This position is also responsible to develop and maintain training and tracking standards.
The Operations Planning Manager position is responsible for the day to day execution of balancing customer requirements with efficient scheduling while ensuring that materials are available to produce and meet on time delivery to the customer. The Operations Planning Manager position is the key link between sales and the facility and the facility and the customers and is the primary liaison between sales, customer service, manufacturing and the customer when there is an issue that needs to be addressed.
The Assistant Coating Operator will assist primary coating operators in accomplishing all job responsibilities. This position also ensures safe and efficient implementation of all duties in support of production of the highest possible quality.
The Assistant Plant Controller provides financial leadership to the plant facility. The Assistant Plant Controller will be responsible for financial transactions including A/P, A/R, payroll, month end closing including cost and inventory related entries, and maintaining a control environment that complies with the company’s internal policies. The Assistant Plant Controller is responsible for growth and development of an accounting team. This position will back up the Plant Controller as necessary.
Manages extrusion manufacturing, plans and assigns work, ensures quality production and maximum efficiencies, enforces policy and procedures, recommends improvements in production methods, participates in team activities. Able to implement process improvement and day to day problem solving for extrusion and printing lines. The typical staff size is 4 technicians and over 25 team members.
