  • Overview

    General Summary:

    The quality technician is responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure products comply with quality standards. Assists in the daily quality activities to support printing and converting production departments, plans and assigns work, enforces policy and procedures, recommends improvements in production methods, and participates in team activities.


    Essential Job Functions:


    1. Supports and adheres to all Coveris procedures and protocols
    2. Feedback quality problems to the production team and find a solution to improve quality level
    3. Ensure the effective and efficient operation of team to provide quality improvement leadership
    4. Provides support to operations to improve quality metrics throughout the plant
    5. Assists Quality Manager in quality initiatives to reduce waste, customer complaints and credits issued



    Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


    • Performs inspections per Quality Procedure


    1. Enforces all plant and department safety rules
    1. Sets the example of safe operation by following established safety guidelines
    2. Follows established safety guidelines; holds self and others accountable
    3. Initiates and supports improvement initiatives
    1. Manages daily goal setting to minimize customer complaints and credits issued
    1. Other duties as instructed by Supervisor or Lead


    1. Must be able to speak, read and write in English
    2. 4 year degree OR equivalent company job specific work experience
    3. Must be able to distinguish between colors
    4. High school diploma
    5. Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing/warehouse/production environment
