    About this opportunity

    The HR Manager role will be responsible to guide and support the Human Resource and Safety functions in a manufacturing environment.   The major focus of this leadership position is to create and maintain an atmosphere of open communication, managing for positive employee relations and continuous improvement to support a high-performing culture. As a change agent, this position requires a combination of strategic vision and tactical implementation skills.


    What you will do

    • Partner with business leader to manage the Hanford Facility for a positive employee relations climate.
    • Hold and assist with various communication meetings and programs, provide conflict resolution techniques and training, coaching and resolving complex HR issues that may arise from time to time.
    • Effectively recruit and hire “top talent” into the organization ensuring key roles are filled and a talent pipeline established.
    • Lead performance management, salary planning and benefit communication and administration processes within the facility.
    • Ensure compliance and fair administration of policies, procedures and work rules.
    • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting and assisting with investigations of first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards. This position will lead and champion safety initiatives to build employee engagement through safe behaviors.


    What you have to offer

    • 5-10 years of relevant work experience in the State of California, including management experience within a manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of CA Labor Law
    • 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
    • Experience in Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, and Training.
    • Experience in Safety and Health, knowledge of Cal-OSHA regulations a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • A sense of urgency with strong results orientation and the ability to communicate it.
    • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) skills.
