The Senior HR Manager for Transcontinental Advanced Coatings has global responsibility for developing and directing the HR strategy for the Advanced Coatings Business Unit of Transcontinental. This position has primary responsibility for all aspects of plant HR activities in Matthews, NC and oversight responsibility for HR activities at the Wrexham, UK and Guangzhou, CN facilities. This includes managing the local impact of US benefit plans including the health & welfare and retirement plans. The incumbent is responsible for all employee and labor relations issues, either directly in Matthews or via the plant HR teams in remote locations. This position will also direct the plants in all aspects of the Human Resource function including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, training and terminating employees, addressing employee performance issues and coaching employees on how to overcome them, updating and developing policies as necessary and ensuring that the organization is adhering to all corporate policies and procedures, and developing and implementing communications strategies.
