    This position will be part of our Packaging Sector. Within packaging, you will contribute to our North American platform. With over 20 production plants specializing, among others, in the flexographic printing, lamination, manufacturing of bags and pouches we offer innovative solutions to various industries.


    Our company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced prodcution workers to carry out various tasks in our busy manufatuing areas. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and production experience, excellent communication skills, high positive energy, and ambition/drive to excel and succeed. 


    About this opportunity

    This positions is responsible for assisting manufacturing areas with packaging orders correctly, ensuring all materials are available, and following all quality check requirements and HACCP/SQF procedures.  It is an entry level position that is the first step in a line of potential progression where there are abundant opportunities to move into higher level positions. 


    What you will do

    • Be proactive - stage production materials ahead and according to customer specification.
    • Be involved - support safety, quality and food safety activities.
    • Be vigilant - monitor for quality while maintaining production performance standards.
    • Maintain good housekeeping in their area and throughout the department.
    • Comply with all general safety, quality and food safety policies and procedures.
    • Report all safety, quality and food safety problems to initiate action.
    • Become an expert and train new employees.
    • Assist with troubleshooting minor machine problems.


    • Manufacturing experience in flexible packaging industry is preferred
    • Ability to work any shift 1st, 2nd, or 3rd and work overtime as needed
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Ability to read and write and measure using a measuring tape or ruler
    • Must be comfortable working with computers
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in a timely manner
    • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and walking/standing for extended periods of time.
    • Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background and reference check, physical and drug testing.
