This position will be part of the Corporate Payroll Team at our Shared Service Center in Greenville, South Carolina. As part of the corporate payroll team, you will join a team of professionals that are eager to take action and innovate.
TC Transcontinental is currently looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst. This position will effectively process and analyze multi-state U.S. payroll data for exempt and non-exempt employees. They will prepare and analyze reports, perform system imports/exports and work closely with colleagues to ensure all deadlines are met with accuracy. They will be professional, organized, deadline driven and have strong attention to detail, while maintaining a confidential work environment.
The Senior Payroll Analyst must have in depth knowledge of payroll wage and hour laws, federal, state, local tax laws as well as familiarity with all types of pre and post-tax benefits, 401K plans, and HSA. They will be responsible for auditing and validating data in both the payroll and time keeping systems, identifying, and implementing payroll workflows and efficiencies while maintaining best payroll practices, completing projects, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the payroll operation. In addition, this person will be responsible for some payroll accounting to include including month end journal entries and account reconciliation for all payroll and tax balance sheet accounts.
